Fall Swap-- Date & Location?

With fall coming on quickly, I'd like to bring back the discussion of a fall swap. Was there a consensus earlier on a date and location?

Janet, based on the previous thread, are you still going to host? If not, we can do the regular place for the Fall Swap (Black Hills Regional Park).

Could everyone please vote for one of the following days? October 9, 10, 16, or 17. I will compile the votes and post the majority winner.

I vote for either the 9th or 10th. I'm good for either Saturday or Sunday.

My choice would be

a) October 16 then b) October 10

Either the 9th or the 10th is fine with me.

I'm worried that I may not have much to trade this year, but I'll come and hang out and bring the big cooler of mint tea.

PS - I got a greenhouse!!! 4 feet square. Free! Mel's setting it up in the backyard right now. I'll bring pictures. (I know, I know--it's nerdy when people show pictures of their kids and I whip out a shot of my dog and my greenhouse. But I can't help it--it's so exciting!)

I vote for the 10th or the 17th, but the other days are ok too.

If it's at Black Hill Regional Park, I volunteer to be the swap Grand Poobah.

If you're willing to do Black Hills that's fine by me. I personally would prefer a Saturday, the 9th.

Any dates but 10/17 and 10/24.

I think you should just pick a date that you can handle and schedule the swap.

The 10th seems to be the winner. Alfie, does this work for the Park? If so, I will post the Haves, Wants, and Food pages this weekend.

I vote for Saturday (Oct 9th) or Sunday (Oct 10th).

I hope we get a large turn out if it ends up on Sunday.
Last year we had a very small turnout.

Yes, Sunday, October 10, works for Black Hill Regional Park. Shall we say 10 a.m. (ish), like last year? Or later? (Or earlier?) In the parking lot in front of shelters D, E, and F.
