I am looking to buy a tiller.
1) My veggie garden isnt huge maybe 20 x 20.
2) My budget isnt unlimited
3) I have to store it.
I think id do a better job of turning over my soil and incorporating my compost.. Anyone buy one of those small front tiller and have any success? (My gardens new and Im sure there are plenty roots in there still.) |

| I have had a 2HP front tine tiller. It worked just fine and I did not have any problems using it on my 25X30 back yard garden. I sold it and purchased a 5HP rear tine tiller (Not the Troy). This was 15 years ago but I would not go back to the front tine tiller -if- I was still growing in the ground. I no longer have need of tiller as I grow in containers now - in a word - arthritis! Front tine will cost you less but if your arm strength is OK you will do just fine with it. Rear tine is a dream to use :-)) DL |

| I have a Mantis electric tiller and am happy with it. I'm a small woman closing in on age 60 and have used it in solid clay. It folds up reasonably small at the end of the season. |
