Ok, humor me.

I wasn't sure where to ask this question, so since we're remodeling everything (read: rebuilding) and my gardens surround my house, which will be resided, I thought this sneak in under the wire! Plus, I know you guys are in my area.

I live smack dab between Washington, DC and Annapolis in Maryland. I found the siding I wanted, but it happened to be on someone's house and they weren't hip to parting with it. When I knocked, bless their hearts, they not only gave me the paint numbers (their brick was painted) they gave me the paint samples. They'd matched the paint to existing siding when they moved in.

Now, I'm sure siding colors go in and out of fashion just like anything else. However, I know I should be able to get closer than Home Depot and Lowe's offerings. But where?

Does anyone know where one goes to find siding if it's not these mega-stores? (I've been to Ted Lansing and no match.) I'd appreciate any suggestions and have truck, will drive!
