Cherry Laurels To Pass On

I never post on this forum, but since it's "Mid Atlantic" I thought I'd give it a shot.

Next week I am lifting (digging up) some Cherry Laurels out of my gardens (6 or 7 or 8) and I'm looking to pass them on to someone who'd like to have one or more. I was going to ask a small "adoption fee", but I suspect/wonder/think that might be against the rules to do here? Please let me know if it is, and I'm sorry.

I don't dig up my plants with a shovel, I use a spading fork and so they'll be removed that way.

They are in good shape, and still have a root ball from when they were planted. I've never mastered (even minored) the art or science of posting a picture.

I live in the northwest section of Ellicott City. I'd want to coordinate the timing removing them from the ground with when they'll be picked up.

I hate to take them to the dump, or let them die just b/c I don't want them.

Do we do this here? If not, to the managers --- please feel free to delete this if I've committed a faux pas.

Miss Mary
