Winter sowing starts in December. The only thing about winter that I like. Go over to read the faqs of that forum & then ask questions. They are quick to answer even the silliest question & very informative. At the spring swap there will be even more goodies cause that's when we need to clear out our gardens for all the new plants we grew during the winter! Welcome & I'll see you in the spring.

you can also join in discussions - here or elsewhere - about 'future' gardens, or propagation of plants indoors for said gardens. This is 'think time' for next year, when we plan and buy and swap and propagate stuff. I've got half a dozen tender perennials that I got as stock plants, and now have the fun of propagating and figuring out next year's color combinations.
Anyone else here who shifts from tomatoes and perennials, to orchids, during the winter? They keep coming home with me from the big box stores, because I feel so sorry for them!
