| Montgomery County, Maryland really dodged a bullet this time. Unlike the Deracho in July, we have relatively few people without power although 10,000 is nothing to sneeze at. But in the Deracho, it was half a million without power for 5 tp 8 days. My garden is sodden with about 8 inches of rain. But no trees have come down.
I'm about to build a fire in the fireplace and heat up some soup. How did you come through the storm? |

| I was in England until I could get back on Wednesday so Cathy had to take care of everything. Minimal damage; a few small branches came down. The hardy banana leaves got completely shredded but that's going to die back soon anyway. Larry |
