I have been coveting these peonies for a while, but the $100+ price was a bit too much for me. I just discovered that Dutch Plant Farm in Frederick has a wide selection in the $30 range and I bought a Bartzella today. I assumed that the price must have come down because of faster propagation methods, but when I did an online search just for fun, I found that most mailorder sources are still selling these for $100-$200. I don't know what's going on, but I might not be able to resist going back for more.

Anybody else see them in your area?
