| Anyone have info on this type of trailing begonia? I bought these about 8 years ago and they gloriously bloom for me if I leave them in a cool room summer and winter ( no heat ). I wanted to see and appreciate them more by trying them under different locations without much luck. First, hanging under a north patio ceiling in the summer. No good, leaves very tender even if the sun don't shine on them. Put into another room south exposure, leaves grew, but no blooms. Put them back into that unheated north storage room and it blooms more than once a year. Obviously a cool type in order to bloom. I just don't understand how can one really enjoy this plant if it only flourishs in a unheated cool room. |
