Christmas trees

I grow a number of different trees for our cut your own tree farm. Colorado spruce, Norway spruce. white pine Scots pine, Austrian pine, Fraser fir, Canaan fir, Douglas fir, Nordmann fir, sub-alpine fir, concolor fir, Leyland cypress, and Arizona cypress. I am always looking for another type of tree that might be interesting as a Christmas tree and be able to live here. I am in zone 6b/7a near Winchester Va where the temperature rarely dips below 0 degrees F and, although it gets pretty hot and humid come July and August, we are cooler than Wash. DC just 70 miles to the East.

The question is, do any of you have any thoughts or experiences about what might make an interesting holiday tree? What's the most unusual tree you have been associated with? Ever seen a holly, an arborvitae, or anything else unique used as a holiday tree? What are your thoughts. Hank
