Preference for Swamp Milkweed (A. Incarnata)?

Has anyone else noticed if their monarchs have a preference for a particular type of milkweed? I have four varieties that grow here naturally (syriaca, incarnata, tuberosa and C. laeve) and I have planted A. speciosa as well. My property is covered in tuberosa and syriaca but there is one relatively small stand of incarnata and it is covered in monarch caterpillars. The monarchs seem to ignore the rest of the milkweeds in favor of this one. I've seen monarch butterflies on other varieties and they seem to especially like the common milkweeds but the only caterpillars I have are on the swamp milkweeds.
