Requesting species recommendation based on experience

A. curassavica has been unsatisfactory in various ways.
I would like to try different species suitable for central FL 9b.
One whose seeds would not require stratification.

I would recommend trying Asclepias Incarnata, or Swamp Milkweed. I think most of the native, deciduous milkweeds germinate better with stratification, but some will grow without. Incarnata does well in moist heat and sun. It is also a favorite of Monarchs for egg laying. Good luck.

Thanks, Martha.
I see that your trade list includes it. Tell me whether
to send something from my list, or to send postage.
However, a concern: Would it be better that I get seeds grown near my zone?

Four,
I'm so sorry! I never came back to read this thread, so didn't see your request for seeds. I had very few Incarnata left, and I planted them all. I hope you were able to find another source.

Martha
