I always loved the Science Museum of Mn every bit as much as my kids. I'm not sure what's showing at the Omni theater there right now but it's always great. You may want to check that out.

The Wild play home hockey games Monday and Wednesday the 29th and 31st. The science museum is across the street.

Make sure you check the Mall of America web site for tourist specials in the mall and for hotel specials.

There is a water park across the freeway from the mall.

If you stay in that area you can park at the mall and take the light rail train into the downtown area.

I live only 10 min from the mall so it is my main place to shop.

My husband offered my son a trip to anywhere in the USA for his 10th birthday. He chose the Mall of America. I drove them out there and they spent two days in a hotel. The following year my daughter chose the same trip for her 10th birthday.

Something you might also consider is to drive thru Wisconsin and hit Wisconsin Dells!

Another spot to stop in Wisconsin is The Circus Museum in Barbaoo.

Drive down the Mississippi on the way back and visit the national eagle center
