I haven't started anything yet. I'm about to winter sow a few things. Other than that I'm taking the Master Gardener Course online. So very painful to have to visit all those horticulture websites. Oh well, a girls gotta do what a girls' gotta do.

Haven't started anything yet but plan to start Zinnias beginning of March if I can wait that long! Need to see some GREEN. Have a question. I took the Master Gardner course through the U of M about 10 years ago. It was held on the ag campus. Can you do it online now? How does that work?

I winter sowed some hosta seeds and gallardia last week. Felt good to get dirt under my nails again! I ran out of seed starter or I would have done more seeds.

tania, yes you can take the MG course online now, I'm not positive but I think it's been available that way for about 10 years. I like it because I can take things according to my schedule. Each week is a different module, soils, trees& shrubs, herbaceous plants etc. There are discussion questions posted each week and you post your answers, questions, thoughts etc. somewhat similar to a forum. There is also an online chat room every other week.
