My local farm store does not carry bags of sulfur for dropping ph (acidizing soil). They are idiots about soil supplements! I bought some a couple years ago but had to pay shipping which I hate. Does anyone know where bags of elemental sulfur can be purchased? I really liked the split pea sulfur I used before on my taters.

4 lb. bags of the flake sulphur can be found at small nurseries that sell Fertilome or High Yield products.

what do you call a farm store? anytime I need stuff like that, I go to the local Cenex/Land O Lakes location. Tessman's is another possibility. High priced, strictly wholesale. Foster's, an omnibus supplier of just about anything non-plant you'd find in a garden center. Strictly wholesale, minimum amounts apply.
