Winter Sowing zone 3/4 annuals

Is it to early to winter sow annuals like salvia, osteosermum, Asters, morning glories, datura and holly hocks?

I know I can do the hardy annuals now. But I am not sure if these are considered hardy or not.

I am asking because the closer it gets to April, the less time I am going to have to Winter sow. In fact if it's not done by March 21st or so it won't get done.
