| Boy, this has been a long winter!!!
I read an article about Redbud tree and think I'd like to try one in my somewhat protected zone 4 spot. Any recommendations to tough varieties? Peggy |

| Peggy, I don't know any named varieties, but I've heard it should be from a northern grown source. You might want to check the MN Landscape Arboretum or the arboretum in Brookings, ( I can't remember the name of it.) |

| Tag should say Minnesota Strain (Redbud - Cercis canadensis - MN Strain). Planted one in 07. It is deer resistant too I believe. Paul |
