What are the typical dates for peony season in Minnesota? I keep looking at charts that list early, mid and late, but I don't know when those days might be (I realize it varied by weather). I've decided I wanted to try peonies out this year.

Also, as a side note, does anyone know someone who sells peony blooms(cut)? I want to have burgundy peonies for an event in late June and obviously won't be producing enough of my own by then. I'd only use them if I could find a local source.
