Dahlia tubers can be planted in pots and started inside now for earlier bloom. Or you can wait until just before the last frost and plant them directly in the ground. Your package should give the depth.

My tulips, daffodils and crocus are up on the east side of the house. Two purple crocus blooms.

I removed some of the mulch from my front garden leaving just a thin layer to protect all the new growth. Lots of bulbs pushing through the soil. Also lots of new green growth on the daisies, dianthus, pansies, salvia, and sedum.
