first purchases of the season!

Couldn't help myself. wanted to pick up a couple of pansies in the antique shades, and ended up "getting found by" a pretty pale periwinkle phlox divaricata and (woo hoo-can you stand it) a cosmos sanguinaria! The chocolate cosmos just arrived at Tonkadale, in case anyone else could get het up about that!

My first and only purchase so far is Sedum blue carpet. This was the first time I saw it so I just had to have a 6 pack.

I got lucky and stumbled upon some really good plant deals early in the season (with the exception of the blue globe spruce and chokecherry-everything was between $4 to $7 ea):

A combination of Home Despot and a weird sale at lyndale garden center where all trees and shubs were 1/2 off (I don't think that sale is still on though).
