| We've got six or seven dwarf white spruce in our yard. They seem to be starting to brown all over. I'm not sure exactly what's going on with them (my specialty is daylilies) - is there anything I can do to get them back to their fat little happy green selves?

| At the moment, the only thing that might help is giving them shade from the intense sun that is prevelent at this time of year. That will help prevent further browning. It's a universal aid no matter what the cause for early spring. Water ONLY if it needs it (rarely in spring). Rick |

| Thanks Rick! We've had plenty of rain over the past couple days, so I'm not worried about watering them, but I never thought they'd need shade. They're right next to a concrete walk around the pool, so it's usually really dry. |
