Can I force Fall bulbs at this point?

Posted by srj19 (My Page) on

I had some bulbs I picked up in the fall and then failed to get planted.

Can I force them by refrigerating for 3-5 weeks, planting indoors in containers, watering until sprouting and established and planting a bit later.

I'm hoping something grows, how long until unplanted bulbs are junk?

Scott

Scott,

You have nothing to loose by trying. If the bulbs are firm, not mushy or moldy, it may work for you....what the heck, it's worth a shot.

Helen.

PS...I fail at veggies and fruit so can't help with the other stuff. Sorry.:-(
