I use my shop vac for leaf clean-up. Works great to get leaves out of shrubbery and sucks some lesser weeds up!

My gazing globe is an oversized kid's ball. Since my 3 year old decided it is fun to play with my gazing globes..and broke it, this year I would not have one. But then when we were at Target looking at toys I seen that clear purple ball with pretty little flecks in it and said to my girls " Mommy is getting a new toy today"

I have an old rusty hand tiller and an old rusty kids wagon that I found out in the woods, use them as "decorations".

I have eventually broken the tines off of a number of garden forks. I have one that only has one heavier end tine left on it, and it makes a pretty fine weeder. I jam the single tine into the ground give it a rotation and it uproots a dandelion as well as anything else ever has. (not that I ever have any dandelions mind you).
Also I use heavy old pieces of broom handles and a couple of old wooden handles from vintage lawn mowers as hose stoppers.

I have an old serrated bread knife that gets a lot of duty...good to cut through roots, etc.
