Those would be the culprits! I did a lot of worm-picking last year. I guess since I have a hard time tolerating them I will have to invest in a bottle of insecticidal soap. Thank you!!

I hand pick them. You could also use Bt, Bacillus thuringiensis, available as Thuricide or Dipel in most garden centers. It isn't a sythetic pesticide but a bacteria that affects worms. Take care not to use it on plants butterflys lay their eggs on (sorry for the crummy grammar).

Thanks for the input, Althea! I did hand pick them last year. I am really not a wimp...there isn't much that grosses me out. But I have a hard time not getting the heebie jeebies when I'm picking worms from my plants. LOL
