Kordes Perfecta rose

I got suckered into a sale at Ace hardware, nicely budding roses @ 5.99 a shot. One of the ones I got is the old 50s variety, Kordes Perfecta, which some call Kordes IMperfecta owing to its tendency, in some areas, to lose its leaves to blackspot. Anyone have experience with this rose here in Minnesota? Gary
