Am I too late to apply crabgrass preventer?

Some says I am and others say its too early. We did have one 80 degree day in March. But two days ago we had snow storm.

And I see weeds in my yard, and some look like crabgrass.

Can anyone help?

It hasn't been warm enough for crabgrass to germinate yet. You still have plenty of time.
