NEWS: Rice Creek Gardens

I was out there this week and Harvey gave me the news they are moving to Spring Grove in southeastern Minnesota! They have a road going in behind them, a Lowe's is going up and they have been re-zoned from ag to industrial. They are moving the WHOLE place! They are still going to be open in Blaine but will be moving throughout the summer. I was so sad to hear this. It turns into about 7 hour commute for me. One direction I rarely go.........

I am already planning on getting more stuff there this year than ever before; now I may get even more! The Iowa borderland is a long way away.

Not good news, will they be selling more via the internet now?

What a shame! That beautiful woodland garden will most likely be ripped up! Ah...progress.

Oh, that is just so sad....loved their grounds.

They are moving as much as they can from the woodland gardens. One greenhouse that was just put up will be moved, too. I think the whole thing would be a huge undertaking.

That whole place is getting so developed *sigh* All cookie cutter houses...

It was such a wonderful place!
