I don't know anything about that, but I can relate. We have wild grape growing everywhere over about an acre of our property that the previous owner just let run wild. It is a nightmare! We've been pulling it up for about a year now, it's pretty much impossible to get rid of! It too sends out runners both on the surface and just below, and they are layered over each other. Such a mess!
