Has anyone here ever grown night blooming jasmine? I picked one up last summer, planted it in a large pot and it did great. In the fall, it was looking a little sickly, so I brought it in, pruned it back to about 3 feet and put it in a sunny window. To my surprise, it has shot back up to over 6 feet over the winter. I have some questions:

1. When is it appropriate to put it back in the yard for summer?

2. All the leaves from below the three feet that I pruned back to fell off. Will they grow back, or will I only get leaves on the new growth areas?

3. Should I prune it down again the beginning of the summer to (hopefully) let it bush out. It seems leggy to me.

4. How long can I expect this plant to live with my summering outdoors, wintering indoors?

I think that is everything, any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated.
