I have two red yarrows that are huge but there are no blooms on them. Has anyone had this problem? One of them is a transplant from the original(no blooms either). I'm not sure whether to cut them back or thin them out. My other yarrows are doing fine. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Is it just this year, or have they not bloomed in previous years, too? My yarrow haven't bloomed yet this year.

It's just this year, leaveswave. I have blooms on other yarrows..I guess they're just being stubborn. Thanks for your feed back! I appreciate it!

The ones in the warmest, sunniest part of my yard are just starting to set bud now. You might try root pruning to encourage bloom. You can google the term and read all about it. Yarrow is a pretty tough plant. I bet that red is gorgeous when it does bloom!
