Got Iris?

I live in a townhouse and can only container garden. I am attempting to overwinter iris in containers. I did this successfully with hosta last year so now I wanna try everything!

If anyone has iris they'll be dividing and tossing/giving in the fall anyway, I'd love to get some to experiment with, especially SDB so the height is easier to manage as I figure this out.

I'm asking now because if there's any chance I can visit while they're blooming (probably right now is the end of the bloom for the SDB) to see, admire, and lust (hee hee), that would be cool too.

(I'm in the West metro.)

Also, if YOU have gotten iris to work in containers, I'd love to have some notes/tips.

Thanks a million.

RE: Got Iris?

If you'd like to try an MDB, this one 6 inches, click on my name above and email me. I can let you see a pic on my photobucket account. It is blooming now. This one is not fussy at all and can be transplanted anytime except after August, even now.

But you must let me know if it comes through next year.

Rick
