New in MN, blue Spring flowers - what are they?

Hi All,
I am new to MN gardening, could you tell me what is the name of small blue flowers that came up right after snow? Some kind of snowdrop? I saw masses of them, one house had a whole hill covered in 5-6 inch tall plants with star shaped blue flowers.

Without seeing an example I'm guessing its scilla. When they find a place they like they spread and are quite beautiful en masse.

It is Siberian Squill, a bulb planted in fall.

Here is a link that might be useful: Scilla Siberica

Maybe Forget me Nots although they aren't as early.

My bet would be on scilla. Up here, the forget-me-nots just started to bloom a few days ago. Johnny Jump ups now too.
