When and what are you planting?

I'm in the Twin Cities and wondering what/if any of you are planting right now.
Supposed to be in the 50's next week...
I have Hostas, Ferns, Clamatis, Coleus waiting to be planted.
Is it warm enough to plant any of these?

Thanks Much!

RE: When and what are you planting?

I have been moving perennials, including clematis, which should be fine. Heard on news this afternoon that we might have frost later this week. I am waiting to put out my coleus. If you plant coleus be prepared to cover them.

My kitchen is now a green house.
Better to be safe than sorry....

RE: When and what are you planting?

I have already planted perennials like coral bells and lady's mantel, plus planted roses that had leaves and buds on them and they look fine after 37F/38F at night. Pansies and alyssum are annuals and they are good to 30F and they look fine as well. Label usually tells you what temp plant can take. I would not plant coleus, petunias and impatience till Sunday May 18th when its warmer. Had to take containers with veggies and herbs inside these last two nights.
