I know the feeling, I finally got rid of it in one area of a bed, but I had to get a backhoe in digging a new waterline to do it.

Today was the first time I was able to get out into the gardens. I pulled off all the mulch, and found crocus blooms! And wouldn't you know it, in amongst all my pretty crocus, was quack grass.

I am usually not a conspiracy theororist, but in this case I have to agree, it is (in case you did not know) in league with creeping charlie, they are part of the 'Axis of Evil"

I was able to clear a large area of quack grass a few years ago by taking advantage of August drought. By spading up the entire area and turning the quack grass roots into the hot sun, they eventually cooked to death. The area is still free of that vermin today.
