| hi i am new to the forum, i have a new house and new-to-me garden.
there is a big trellis in our yard, with a grapevine that was beautiful and green when we were looking at the house in the fall. well this year, so far it looks dead-- there is only one tiny tendril that has grown any leaves; my mom says it was a hard winter and she lost some small trees & she thinks the grapevine might be dead. is anyone else having their grapevine starting late? thanks so much. |

| Best thing is to give it water and wait. Weird season so far and nature knows more than we do. I'm wondering about a vine I have had on a fence for three years. I started it with small shoots from the Miss. River and it took off and would be full of leaves by June. |
