Dicentra - King of Hearts - Zone hardiness?

I bought a dicentra - king of hearts from Bachman's this spring. The label on the plant said it was hardy to zone 3. I've read a few articles since that maintain it is only hardy to zone 5.

I wonder if any of you have had experience (success?) growing this hybrid bleeding heart here in Minnesota? Thanks in advance!
