A little spring (photo) garden tour

I took a few pics around the yard and garden yesterday and today (ok, camera nut that I am, I took a few hundred pics but I'm onling going to subject you to a few)....

Ooops... didn't size this one the same as the others. This one is the beginning of my 'forest'. The shrubs went in last year. They are all varieties that should help attract more birds to my yard.

Thanks for the garden tour, as always everything looks great!! I really liked seeing my favorite bird couple enjoying a snack. With your new shrubs, you will be getting more birds to watch and good protection for them.

Beautiful, Joyce! Love that white flower. A clematis, huh? Which one is it, I might have to keep my eye out for one!

That one is called Gurnsey Cream, Linda. It's the earliest one to bloom in the spring, and I just love it. Partly because it's beautiful, and partly because we had Gurnsey cows when I was growing up. :-)

You have added so much to the yard! It is really looking outstanding!!
Is really nice to see all of the hostas planted in the containers.

Sheila, what a nice surprise! I didn't know you were watching the MN forum! Did you make it to the hosta dig at the Arboretum this year? How about some pics of your garden? I'd love to see how everything is coming along.
