pink lilac ID..?

My neighbor has a pink/lavender lilac that she says she ordered from a catalog 40 years ago..It's extremely fragrant(much more than the common lilacs in my yard and blooms before any other lilacs around here,in fact it blooms before it leafs out. Anyone know what variety it may be? She can't

remember..I'd love to have one.

I can take a look at an old Martha Stewart article I clipped a few years ago. But I can't imagine anything being more fragrant than the common lilacs we get around here! Lilacs are the best!
