Red-Twigged Dogwood looking droopy

Hi everyone. I just planted a red-twigged Dogwood two weeks ago, and the leaves have been looking droopy, and some of the leaves are turning yellow. The soil around it seems fairly moist, what with all the rain we've been having, and since it's been so rainy I haven't given it any extra water. It's planted in a very sunny spot, and when I planted it I added a lot of peat moss and compost, since I think my soil is pretty clayey, and I also suspect the soil may be somewhat poor. Anyone have any suggestions?
