Digitalis grandiflora is one of my new favorite plants, especially since its smooth foliage made it through the winter. I was so pleased I bought another one, and it is in about 5 hours of bright sun, then shade. Does anyone have experience with this plant in sun? Would it be happier in shade? Thanks!

According to the web this plant can tolerate full sun to partial sun. Mine gets maybe a couple of hours of direct sunlight if it's lucky and it's quite content. Kristy :)

Mine is in full sun and does very well. They are an adaptable plant and do well in a variety of exposures and soils. Let these plants reseed or help them along by sowing some seed near the base of the original plant. More is better with this perennial foxglove! Jan
