Screening a fence

Hi all! My wife and I are slowley but surely getting into the whole landscaping and gardening stuff. We recently built a 18X30' vegetable garden in an area of our yard that is otherwise useless and its turning out pretty cool. I also am planning on screening off our fence which is street side and about 180' long but am unsure as what to use.

We researched a few hedges and shrubs and have come up with:

Purpleleaf Sand Cherry

Ivory halo dogwood

Diabolo Ninebark

Dwarf Burning bush

My question is this, which of these are the fastest growing and then which of them (if not all) will create a better "screen"?

Or are there others out there that we migh consider?

we want to keep it about 6' high as anything above that will be too tall. We realize that the ninebark could mature at about 10' but trimming and such isnt an issue.
