I bought one a few weeks ago, and it was a model scaled for small yards, or so it said. Unfortunately, this sprinkler was not designed for a yard as small as mine. You have to have quite a bit of water pressure to force the water to flow in the pattern chosen on the dial. This results in a fine mist, but over a very large area in comparison to my small city lot with its variety of small beds, retailing walls and sidewalks.

It does work, just over a larger area than I had hoped. A good estimate would be that it sprays true to pattern at a 15-20 foot wide spray.

Honestly, your best bet is to install a professional irrigation system. It will perform better and you'll pay less in the long run because reputable contractors back their work with manufacturer's warranties and use commercial-grade components.
