What's eating my Northern Lights Azalea?

I noticed this week that my Northern Lights Azalea has some leaves that are being eaten by something. Many of the affected leaves have just veins remaining, others show more traditional signs of munching. Only the higher leaves seem to be affected, none of the nice new branches/leaves at the base of the plant seem to be troubled. So far the damage is not too extensive, but I don't want it to get worst! I got this shrub for free from a neighbor last year. It has just finished flowering.

I have looked closely for any pests, but I can't see anything. I've read about the "Azalea Caterpillar", but I really don't see anything-- especially not any red-headed caterpillars. Do they eat at night maybe and hide during the day?

I sprinkled some "Sluggo" around the plant yesterday. I had slugs last year, but I don't remember them being near the azalea. (They killed one of my mums last year.)

I can post a picture, if anyone thinks it will help.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Elleni
