Donahue's in Farabault

Donahue's has perennials for half price, including clematis. The smaller ones are under 5 dollars. I bought several of this size last year and all of them have been blooming already this season.

I have heard wonderful things about the quality of their plants from avid gardeners here in Rochester. Sounds like I need to make a visit. Thanks for the info.

The store is getting ready to close soon, check out their website...you may want to call before you go. I got four really nice clematis from there this year and the one is blooming so beautifully.

Here is a link that might be useful: Donahue's

They are open 8:30 - 5 Wed/Thur/Fri June 20,21,22. Then closed for the season. I stopped by today and they still have a good selection of clems, some are in better shape than others. Not a whole lot else - just a few annuals.

I'm not often in the Faribault area (I'm on the NW edge of the metro) but I'm not above making a road trip if the nursery's good -- should I put Donahue's on my list for 2008?
