Mystery Flower

This flower made it's way into one of my beds a couple of years ago. That same bed became a home for some purple columbine.

Do any of you know what this is?

RE: Mystery Flower

That's the flower of Virginia Waterleaf (hydrophyllum virginiaum). In is a native plant that can be aggressive but is easy to control. It'll probably have flowers for another week or so.

RE: Mystery Flower

Thank you misterpatrick. Especially the tip on it being aggressive. I will keep an eye on it.
