weed ID please!

Can anyone ID this weed and then tell me how to get rid of it? I just can't seem to kill it! I can sort of keep it under control if I carefully dig it up and also loosen and remove the side roots that seem to help it spread, but I don't want to dig up my sweet woodruff!

Actually, I think I might know what it is. Could it be unvariegated snow on the mountain? The leaves look the same as the snow on the mountain I have been unable to eradicate.

Now, how to get rid of it?

EEK! Did someone say, "Snow on the mountain?" - the plant from you know where. My neighbor has it in a rock groundcover. She had professionals dig up the bed three time. Many friends have tried to help, but it comes back again and again. It is so tenacious, once I had to remove it because it was climbing up under her siding. I hope it never makes it to my garden. So far, it has stayed confined to the one bed. It seems to spread by root and not seed.
