| We want to fill in a large area with hostas, but can't afford to spend the $6 - $12 per pot at Linders or Gertens. We need about 20 hostas, with lots of variety.
Where can we buy hostas at a low cost at this time of the summer? Thanks, Lynn |

| Hi Lynn. Maybe at a farmer's market. $6 is a very reasonable cost to begin with. But I have seen and bought hostas for less at farmer's markets. You can also try places like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes and other big box stores, but you run a much higer risk of purchasing diseased hostas there (Hosta Virus X, in particular). |

| Lynn, You really should check out the hosta forum. They have lots of ideas and pictures. Lots of wonderful advice. I wouldn't necessarily recommend walmart, home depot, menards etc for the very reason of HVX. Enjoy, |
