Celosia seeds.... too late?

I just remembered that I harvested some celosia seeds last fall. And I haven't planted them.

Is it too late to plant them for some late summer color?

If so, do you think they'd make it if I were to store them in food-saver bags for next spring?

They should keep until next spring. They take a long time to get going - if we have a very long fall (not unheard of) you might get a bit from them, but with the heat we've been having the ones I started from seed early this spring are even having some troubles. They are growing a bit on the slow side.
