| I'm thinking of starting some extra vegetable seedlings now to extend my harvest further into the fall.
So far, I'm thinking:
I figure I can get the cabbage and broccoli sprouted indoors over the next week or so, move them to the deck, and get them in the ground by Aug. 1 as strong transplants. The zukes, beans, peas and squash can be direct-seeded this week. Any other suggestions for my garden? I'm good on the tomatoes, peppers, corn and watermelons already. |

| Here's a link to an article from the U of MN extension regarding midsummer plantings. My peas rotted this spring from all the rain. Maybe I will try them again. |
