Why don't you start one?

Yes, you could start one easily enough. Contact the local garden clubs in your area. They may have one, if not get them to participate in yours. Post notices on local bulletin boards. Sometimes local papers will do a small new story if you have something of interest to the community.
Put flyers at the local nurseries nad garden centers, produce stands, etc.

And last but not least, post it here when you do! Some of us may be in the area or willing to travel to get there! LOL

So you basically tell everyone to bring whatever they have to trade, and nothing is for sale. Everyone just gets together at a certain time with their "wares" and set up their own individual trades? It sounds like a great idea. I'd love to make it to one myself, before I actually hosted one though!

I would love a swap in the northern part of the state. Of course it depends on which north. I am on the western edge, just a hop skip and a jump from both ND and Canada.
