I don't know if fertilizer is a good idea or not at this point. Water and lots of it is probably the best thing to keep doing. Mine are in the same condition, but I did notice a bit of new growth on a couple and even a couple of blooms. Maybe once it cools down, things will start happening.

Hey there Zen-
It is funny- the newer 1 and 2 year olds are just LOVING this weather- and the older ones are not happy at all! Miss Bateman has gone dormant (I hope)- if not dead to the root already...
I will only continue to fertilize the annual containers this late in the season- In my mind, it is time for the perennial plants to put the energy into the roots and seeds- not into new growth. But I am still trying to figure these things out myself.
